of the Convention) is the Ministry of Justice.
The authorities designated in article 4 are the judicial authorities.

The authority empowered to send or receive documents and notifications (article 5
of the Convention) is the Ministry of Justice or the public prosecutor’s office at
the place where the rectified record or the record to be rectified was drawn up.
The authority designated in article 4 is the president of the court, at the place
where the record to be rectified was drawn up, deciding under the conditions laid
down by article 99 of the Civil Code.

terms ‘metropolitan territory’ and ‘extra-metropolitan territories’, used in the text
of the convention, will be considered as signifying ‘European territories’ and ‘non-European
territories’.
