Albania

In accordance with Article 1, paragraph 1, of the Convention, the Republic of Albania declares that it reserves the right not to apply the provisions of Chapter C of the Convention.
Czech Republic

Pursuant to Article 1, paragraph 1, of the Convention, the Czech Republic reserves the right not to apply the provisions of Chapters B and C of the Convention.
Denmark

The Government of Denmark declares that, in accordance with Article 15, the Convention
shall apply to all municipalities and counties in Denmark.
Until further notice, the Convention shall not extend to the Faroe Islands and Greenland,
cf. Article 16.
Finland

The Government of Finland declares in accordance with Article 15 of the Convention
that the provisions of this Convention shall apply to municipalities (kunnat/Kommuner)
in Finland.
Italy

At the time of ratification, Italy declares, in application of the provisions of Article
1, paragraph 1, of the Convention, that it will confine the application of this instrument
to the Chapters "A" and "B".
Netherlands, the Kingdom of the
28-01-1997
The Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands declares that Article 6, paragraph
1, of the Convention on the Participation of Foreigners in Public Life at Local Level,
done at Strasbourg on 5 February 1992, taken in conjunction with the object and purpose
of the Convention, will be interpreted as meaning that persons resident in the Netherlands
on postings from other States as members of diplomatic or consular missions, and such
of their spouses, partners and children who are not Dutch nationals and who maintain
a joint household with them, are not covered by Article 6, paragraph 1, of the said
Convention.
The Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands furthermore declares, in conformity
with Article 15 of the Convention, that it will confine the application of the Convention
to municipal authorities.
Norway

The Kingdom of Norway declares that the Convention shall not apply to the territory
of Svalbard.
