In applying the provisions of article 35 (4) of the Constitution of the International Labour Organization and article 13 of the Labour Clauses (Public Contracts) Convention (no. 94), the Government of the Netherlands accepts, on behalf of Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles, the provisions of this Convention, which will be applied in these territories without modification. In applying the provisions of article 35 (2) of the aforementioned Constitution and article 12 of the aforementioned Convention (no. 94), the Government declares that this Convention cannot, for the time being, be made applicable to Netherlands New Guinea on account of this territory’s low population density and its very low level of development.
