a) On the understanding of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, the aforementioned agreement contains no obligation under international law to deploy armed forces or other provisions which, under German constitutional law, are subject to parliamentary reservation.
b) In the event of discrepancies between the English and the French text of the Agreement between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the Republic of France on the European Air Group of 6 July 1998, as amended by the Protocol of 16 June 1999, the Federal Republic of Germany will regard the English version as prevailing.
