With reference to article 3 (1) of the Protocol to the Agreement, the Kingdom of Belgium declares that modalities 3(1)(a) shall apply to the control zones situated in its territory.

France

The procedures and modalities specified in article 3 (1) (b) shall apply to the control zones situated in French territory in its capacity as Host State.

Netherlands, the Kingdom of the

The Kingdom of the Netherlands declares in accordance with Article 3, paragraph 1, of the Protocol to the said Agreement between the Government of the French Republic, the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium, the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, done at Brussels on 7 July 2020, that the procedures and modalities stipulated in Article 3, paragraph 1, littera b shall apply to the control zones situated in its territory.

In the context of the signing of the Agreement the Belgian Government has received a corrected version of the declaration (in accordance with Article 34 of the Agreement):
The Kingdom of the Netherlands further declares in accordance with Article 34 of the said Agreement that the Kingdom of the Netherlands, for the European part of the Netherlands, will provisionally apply this Agreement and its Protocol, pending their entry into force, from 7 July 2020, with the exclusion of the new Article 12, paragraph 4, of the 1993 Agreement, as amended, and with the exclusion of the provisions of Article 3, paragraph 1, littera b, (i) and (iii) of the Protocol to this Agreement. Once the implementing legislation for the new Article 12, paragraph 4, of the 1993 Agreement, as amended, and for Article 3, paragraph 1, littera b, (i) and (iii) of the Protocol to this Agreement has been adopted, the Kingdom of the Netherlands will extend the provisional application to the aforementioned provisions, by depositing a further declaration with the depositary.

United Kingdom

The United Kingdom shall apply the procedures and modalities set out in Article 3(1)(a) of the Protocol to the Agreement to the control zones situated in the territory of the United Kingdom in its capacity as host State.
