Declare this Agreement and these Final Acts to be ratified by the Declaration in Annex, and do promise, on behalf of the Principality of Liechtenstein, to observe the aforesaid conscientiously and at all times, as far as it lies in Our power. Declaration by the Principality of Liechtenstein ratifying the Agreement on the participation of the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovak Republic in the European Economic Area (EEA Extension Agreement) of 14 October 2003 The Principality of Liechtenstein ratifies the Agreement on the participation of the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovak Republic in the European Economic Area, whereby the accession countries become Contracting Parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, with the recognition that the object and purpose of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and in particular Article 3 thereof, bind the Contracting Parties to seek to settle any hitherto unresolved disputes which exist between them in a peaceful manner on the basis of international law, and that the ratification of this Agreement places the existence of the Principality of Liechtenstein as a long-standing sovereign State beyond doubt also for the "new Contracting Parties" listed in Article 1 of the Agreement.
